Bolga straw basket natural/dark red

This basket is a traditional, handmade product from Bolgatanga, Ghana, and is made under excellent conditions. We don't negotiate on price, ensuring the weavers receive a fair price for their beautiful products.

The basket is woven from elephant grass, which is very supple, sturdy, and durable. The handle is finished with brown leather.

Color: natural, dark red and dark purple

Dimensions: diameter 24cm, height excluding handle approx. 30cm, handle 18cm.

Because the baskets are handmade, dimensions may vary slightly from basket to basket.

Tip: You can reshape a slightly deformed basket by wetting it, pulling it back into shape and letting it dry.
