Le Mar & More brings the best of Africa to you and at the same time ensures that African craftsmen and artists receive a fair salary. In our webshop you will find items from Tanzania, Kenya, Ethiopia and Ghana and with your purchase you not only support the person who lovingly made the product by hand, but the entire local population.

We, Marjolein and Leonie, are two entrepreneurs with a heart for quality, honest products and Africa. In Le Mar & More we combine our love and expertise and make not only our own dream come true, but also that of the people we work with.

Leonie has a background in fashion and textile technology. With her years of experience as a shop manager and buyer, she finds the most beautiful fabrics and prints for you.

Marjolein has seen the whole world as a stewardess, but fell in love with Africa. She now organizes trips and safaris and during her work visits she discovered the handmade jewelery of the Maasai, the nomadic people from Tanzania and Kenya. The beautiful recycled glassware from the sheltered workshop in Arusha also touched her. This is where the idea for Le Mar & More was born.
